We Accept Most Insurance Plans And Major Credit Cards

If you need assistance or have questions about your insurance policies or claims, our team is knowledgeable and always available to help you. We want you to get the most out of your budget, so we work with your insurance provider to help you get the best coverage available to you.

We accept all dental PPO insurance plans, which allow patients to choose their provider. We are not directly contracted with any plans but we will gladly take care of filing claims and advocate for your benefits on your behalf. We will expect payment for any co-pays or deductibles at the time of service. Delta Dental plans do not allow your benefit payments to be sent to us as out-of-network providers, therefore we will require payment at the time of your visit. Delta Dental will reimburse you with a check within 2 weeks of your received claim. Dental Membership Plan

If you do not have dental insurance, join our membership plan! You will receive all of the preventative care you need at a significant savings. You will also receive up to 15% discount on additional treatments. No fee to join, take advantage of benefits right away, discounts never go away, and best of all - no insurance company! How do I sign up?
Please stop by our office to enroll.  Your membership activates as soon as your membership fee payment is received.

How long is my membership?
Your membership is 12 months starting the day your plan is activated.

Can I sign up my whole family?
Yes, we love seeing families at Ocean Avenue Dentistry!

I am already a current patient at Ocean Avenue Dentistry.  Can I join?
Yes! New and existing patients are both eligible for the OAD Membership Plan.

I have a FSA/HSA plan, can I submit the plan membership fee for reimbursement?
Yes!  You are welcome to submit your plan fee for FSA/HSA reimbursement.  We recommend you contact your employee benefits provider to confirm the details of their coverage.

I have dental insurance. Can I sign up for this plan?
The OAD Membership Plan is not valid in combination with your existing dental insurance plan.  We sincerely appreciate your loyalty to our practice!

How can I use my discount for dental treatment?
To receive care, simply call our office for an appointment on or after your effective membership date.

How do I cancel my membership?
The OAD Membership Plan is an awesome benefit, rarely does anyone cancel.  However, we understand certain circumstances arise and do allow cancellation within the first 90 days of activation.  If you cancel within the first 90 days, you will receive a full refund of the membership fees.  Also, you will be required to pay full fee for the services rendered within the first 90 days of your membership prior to cancellation.  The OAD Membership Plan and membership fee will auto-renew each year.  Please contact Ocean Avenue Dentistry to make changes to your plan membership.

What happens if I miss an appointment?
OAD Membership plan members are responsible to maximize benefits by scheduling appropriate appointments within the 12 month membership period. We recommend reserving your dental hygiene appointments 3-6 months in advance.

Please notify our office at least 48 business hours in advance if you must reschedule a reserved appointment time.  Missing reserved appointments or cancelling with less than 48 hour business day notice of a reserved appointment time results in forfeiting your dental exam/cleaning benefits for that appointment. Benefits do not roll over and must be used within the 12 month period.
